Duck Creek Technologies, the intelligent solutions provider driving the future of P&C insurance, recently announced a formal agreement to acquire Imburse Payments, a Swiss-based modernized payments platform.
The cloud-native software-as-a-service (SaaS) payment system offered by Imburse is explicitly designed for the insurance industry. The modern payment platform makes end-to-end insurance transactions simpler and more efficient.
Imburse allows insurance carriers to swiftly connect to the whole payments ecosystem at a lower cost, seamlessly integrate with the current financial infrastructure and procedures, and manage numerous partners for collections and disbursements, all in unified place. In addition, the platform is user-friendly and gives policyholders an easy-to-use, flexible payment experience as well as the ability to swiftly and securely direct payments.
As a part of Duck Creek, Imburse will continue providing services to its existing clientele and markets while accelerating growth ambitions for new customers in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. The Imburse platform will continue to be offered independently and will also be fully integrated with Duck Creek's suite of technology solutions, further facilitating carriers' digital transformation objectives with modern tools.
“Imburse has developed a great product for the global insurance industry that is not only easy to integrate and implement, but also gives carriers incredible flexibility and payment choices,” said Mike Jackowski, CEO of Duck Creek Technologies.
