In a pandemic, that’s a big advantage. After a slow start about a decade ago, mPOS systems have become increasingly popular in the last few years. In fact, NTT Data and Accourt Limited estimate that mPOS transactions will total $4 trillion, or half of all POS volume, in 2024.¹
