Fortiva® Retail Credit, a leading technology-enabled second-look consumer credit financing and point-of-sale consumer credit program based in the United States, announced the expansion and extension of its existing relationship with ChargeAfter, a leading multi-lender network and consumer financing platform provider, which began in 2018.
To give more customers the chance to be authorized for financing, Fortiva Retail Credit can now be used across ChargeAfter's complete network of financial institutions, merchants, and channel platforms. Thanks to the Fortiva® Retail Credit program, which uses the flexible technology of Atlanticus Services Corporation, the Bank of Missouri can offer a seamless transition from prime financing to a second-look program with affordable payment alternatives. Customers who are rejected for financing by a prime credit source are processed immediately for the second-look option offered by the Fortiva® Retail Credit program.
Atlanticus' technology platform allows more inclusive financing alternatives that enable merchants to say "yes" more frequently to customers with less-than-perfect credit using the insights garnered from over 25 years of consumer performance and data aggregation.
"As the first credit program to integrate with ChargeAfter, we are excited to extend and expand our relationship, This partnership reinforces our commitment to provide digital and national retailers with the means to instantly approve more customers applying for financing, powering better financial opportunities and outcomes for everyday Americans."
- Dave Caruso, Chief Commercial Officer of Atlanticus Services Corporation.
Mark Denman, EVP of Merchant Sales & Success at ChargeAfter, said, "As ChargeAfter continues to disrupt the BNPL space, Fortiva® Retail Credit's premier services and offerings will continue to help set us apart from the competition." He also mentioned, "We look forward to our continued rapid expansion with the Fortiva program and appreciate the longstanding partnership we have with them."
