Appetize Introduces New Tech for Streamlined Point-Of-Sale Payments
Appetize Payments, an all-in-one solution that integrates payment processing services with Appetize's best-in-class cloud software, has been introduced by Appetize, the leading digital commerce platform. Appetize Payments, which was launched at a time when bigger venues and hospitality brands were trying to unify their tech stack, removes the need for costly third-party services, ensures pricing transparency, and provides a single point of contact.
“We launched Appetize Payments in response to the demand from our enterprise customers for a more seamless and open payment solution,” says Kevin Anderson, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of Appetize. “Offering our own payments system in addition to our industry-leading tech stack eliminates the complexity and allows our customers to concentrate on growing their businesses.” This is a crucial next step in the evolution of our platform.”
Appetize Payments is also available through all Appetize products, including sports and entertainment, attractions, food service, education, and restaurants.
Appetize Payments benefits include:
• Lower Rates. Third-party payments are no longer a problem.
• Transparent pricing. To improve visibility and transparency, a single report includes merchant service prices as well as key business insights.
• Digital transfers that are future-proofed Dip, tap, scan, RFID, and NFC features, digital currencies/wallets, and the leading loaded value and gift card services are all supported by all Appetize Payments-enabled software and hardware.
• A single point of contact for assistance. Help is provided quickly and easily, with a single point of contact with all questions relating to orders, point-of-sale services, back-of-house software, portal, and processor vendors.
• A platform that is both safe and reliable. Appetize supports PCI validated and Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions, which provide a significantly reduced network scope and security assessment.
“Adopting Appetize Payments provided us with an all-in-one approach that easily streamlines our payments and software,” says Eric Sanchez, Controller at Hale & Hearty, a fast-casual restaurant chain. “The app streamlines our support and reporting models, potentially saving us money for any transaction processed so we no longer have to pay a percentage to a third party. We look forward to partnering with Appetize for many years to come.”
More than half of new Appetize partners have signed up for Appetize Payments since the product's launch, including Hale & Hearty, FC Cincinnati, Allen Eagle Stadium, and Hillsboro Hops.
Appetize Payments provides free registration in interchange saving programs to eliminate card brand fees, as well as on-site installation if required. There are no long-term commitments or early termination fees, and the aim is to take the sting out of payments for businesses while enhancing customer experiences every day.
This new offering integrates with Appetize's whole omnichannel solution suite, which includes point-of-sale units, self-service kiosks, and handhelds. Management and staff have access to Appetize's industry-leading Activate the software, which enables devices to seamlessly switch between stores, revenue centers, and service modes; Interact, which provides self-service capabilities through kiosks and mobile web; and Connect, a web-based management portal designed to power multi-site operations, providing venues with real-time management, reporting, and analytics.
