Oracle Targets Compliance In Retail Supply Chain Solution

Oracle has announced new enhancements for its Retail Brand Compliance Management Cloud Service, which will enable retailers to monitor the integrity of their materials and end products. Through advancements in reporting and analytics, as well as additional integrations, Oracle’s service will further enable retailers, restaurants and manufacturers to source, develop, track and market their products. As items are developed, the solution can create accurate and certified labeling details according to regulatory and industry policies so that brands can quickly respond to product and industry incidents. For example, in 2016, a multi-state listeria outbreak in the U.S. affected a number of well-known supermarket chains. By using Oracle’s service, one grocer was able to quickly pull stock-keeping units (SKUs) to identify where the product was being sold, and communicate with its customers.
