Retailing has faced challenges but none greater than the disruption brought about by the digital revolution. Technology is the key driver of change and retailers need to transform their businesses if they are to survive in the face of new competitors and new channels. But how can retailers create a point of difference to win customers and beat their competitors? World Retail Congress 2018 had ‘Innovate to win’ as its central theme.
