Companies like Alibaba and JD.com are pushing the retail technology developed in-house to offline stores to improve customer experience and make stores more efficient for omnichannel retail. As online retail matures in key markets such as China, South Korea, and Japan, the focus is going to be on investing in offline stores to sell more goods to the customers.
